7x5: Lot of 20 Cleveland Indians Cards, 1957-1961 Topps; Gd-VG/EX

$15.03

Three years removed from one of the best seasons in major league history, the 1957 Cleveland Indians had fallen back to just under .500 at 76-77. The 1954 team went 111-43, and that team’s .721 winning percentage remains the best since the 1909 Pittsburgh Pirates. Except for an 89-65 record in 1959, the Indians were within five games of .500 each season between 1957 and 1961. The slide towards mediocrity was directly correlated to the aging and departure of Hall of Fame pitchers Bob Feller, Bob Lemon, and Early Wynn in the latter half of the 1950s.

This lot contains 20 unique cards from between 1957 and 1961. Cards range from good to VG/EX condition.  Some have corner wear or surface defects.  A few have minor creasing or wrinkling.  All are free of major defects.  All cards are pictured, see photographs for additional information on condition.

This 7×5 Dutch auction started on December 18th, 2025, at $23.13. It will be reduced by 7% every five days. Please see Additional Info for the bid reduction schedule and list of each card.
