5x5: Lot of (19) 1962 Topps Cards, incl. Two Babe Ruths, 4 More HOFers

$24.28

The New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants squared off in the World Series of 1962, with the Yankees winning in seven. None of the Hall of Famers in this lot (Babe Ruth, Early Wynn, Al Lopez, Warren Spahn, and Richie Ashburn) played in the series. The MVP was pitcher Ralph Terry, who started three games, pitched 25 innings, and gave up only runs. He pitched a complete game shutout to win Game 7 by a score of 1-0.

This lot contains (19) 1962 Topps cards, including two of the Babe Ruth cards which were an insert set of sorts to the 1962 Topps set.  They are the Babe as a Boy (#135) and Babe and Manager Huggins (#137) cards.  Approximately VG/EX or EX condition, with one somewhat off center and both with a touch of corner wear.  Four more Hall of Famers are included in the remaining 17 cards.  Remaining cards range from poor to VG/EX.  See pictures and full list below for details.  Potentially a good gift for a young collector interested in vintage.

This 5×5 Dutch auction started on December 20th, 2025, at $32.38. It will be reduced by 5% every five days until it is sold. Please see Additional Info for the full list of cards and bid reduction schedule.
